In our reading this week Jesus takes a time out from the crushing crowds and growing discontent of the civil and religious authorities to pray. When is the last time we took a time out from the demands of our day to day lives for prayer or meditation or some other form of focused intent on our spiritual selves?

All donors should have received by mail their giving statements for tax purpose. If you have not received yours please call so we can correct the error. PMCC continues to be healthy financially due to the generosity of its members and friends. While we a running a deficit in our fiscal year it is part of the normal pattern or our expense/income--if people do what they have always done, give monthly, plus, give a portion of tax returns and support the annual event--we are just an inch behind last year. Meanwhile, we have enough reserves to cover all aspects of our day-to-day operating expenses. Thank you again for the time, talent and treasure you entrust community with, it is making a difference. PMCC is growing!
